Lancer Cedia

Mitsubishi Motors introduced Lancer just in India that was put forward in New Delhi Auto Expo just then.This new model was produced and marketed in India by Hindustan Motors Limited by the name of Lancer Cedia.

In India, this new model will be produced with Lancer that now and was marketed together through 37 dealers that was spread in the subcontinent.The target in one defined by 3.600 units.Hindustan Motors Limited also planned to bring Pajero in newest in May this year, was followed by Outlander and Grandis.
Mitsubishi tried stressed his existence in India that the potential for his automotive market was very big, like also in Brazil, Russia and China.

The Mitsubishi Lancer is a family car built by Mitsubishi Motors. It has been known as the Colt Lancer, Dodge/Plymouth Colt, Chrysler Valiant Lancer, Chrysler Lancer, Eagle Summit, Hindustan Lancer, Soueast Lioncel, Mitsubishi Carisma, and Mitsubishi Mirage in various countries at different times, and has been sold as the Galant Fortis in Japan since 2007. It has also been sold as Lancer Fortis in Taiwan with a different facelift compared to Galant Fortis.

Between its introduction in 1973 and 2008, over six million Lancers had been sold.

Ferrari F430 – So Hot It Melts Down!

As shocking as it seems to be it is not uncommon for this particular model of Ferrari to get on fire. The reason for this is an engine-overheating flaw which can cause a fire in the engine bay. Here you can see burning F430 at South Luzon Expressway in Philippines.

To quote a witness:

"Yup, this was yesterday, around 7:30 am to about 8:30 when the flat bed arrived to scoop it up.

The car owner is a good friend, and I was with him yesterday...actually right behind him when the fire started. We were driving a bit quicker at the skyway, but when we reached SLEX, we slowed down because of traffic. The incident happened right before the Susana Heights exit (800 mteres from it). We were following each other (there were about 8 of us doing a leisurely sunday drive) at the part of SLEX where the lanes were guided by plastic orange things...so it at about 60 km/h. The car started to accelerate a bit after the single lane guide, and the fire erupted form the left rear bank of the car.

Thought it was an engine blow out, but it was actually a fluid leak on to the hot exhaust part of the car. We tried to get a fire extinguisher but the only one available came too late, and was not enough to stop the fire.

The owner stepped out of the car immediately after he saw the rear fire errupt in his sidemirror. It did not blow up, just burned (up to 20 feet fire) until the entire rear half melted and the fire truck came to stop it.

It was an unreal sight, and was a very sad moment. Luckily the car is covered under warranty still, and there are worldwide reported incedents of similar events!"

Lucky me! I've been on my way to a Ferrari dealership when I found this one :)

The Formula One Espionage Scandal

McLaren's chief designer, Mike Coughlan, was found in possession of 780 pages of technical information on Ferrari cars which he allegedly got from Ferrari head of performance Stepney , Nigel Stepney :) McLaren's 2007 Championship was put at stake, but the FIA ruled yesterday that McLaren will not be punished for possession of confidential Ferrari's documents. Needless to say, Ferrari is pissed off. This is an excerpt from the statement on the Ferrari's website:

"Ferrari notes that Vodafone McLaren Mercedes has been found guilty by FIA World
Council. It there for finds it incomprehensible that violating the fundamental principle of
sporting honesty does not have, as a logical and inevitable consequence, the application of a
sanction. Today's decision legitimises dishonest behaviour in Formula 1 and sets a very
serious precedent.

In fact, the decision of the world council signifies that possession, knowledge at the very
highest level and use of highly confidential information acquired in an illicit manner, and
the acquiring of confidential information over the course of several months, represent
violations which do not carry any punishment."

I have a feeling this is not over yet.

Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano

This is the youtube video in which you can see a review of Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano done by Tiff Needell from the Fifth Gear (the channel Five's automobile show for the Martians). This model is a replacement for the 575M Maranello as the Ferrari model for the year 2007. The powerful Tipo F133F 6.0 L V12 engine, yes the same engine used in Enzo, produces more than 620 HP, making the 599 GTB the most-powerful series production Ferrari on the roads. Pretty impressive.

Lamborghini Reventòn

Based on the Murcielago LP640 the Reventòn is powered by a 650 horsepower V12 engine and that means it has a top speed of 340 km/h (211 mph) and accelerates from zero to 100 (62) in 3.4 seconds.

It looks great, very aggressive, more a jet than a car, only twenty will be produced, but is it worth a one million euros ($1.4 million)? I like this car, I like it a lot, but I can't escape the feeling that this is just the face-lifted Murcielago LP640.

It's not that this car is worth $1.5 million US, but the fact that Ferrari produced only 400 of them and I didn't buy one yet, so please be very careful when you drive one.
