SPIED: 2013 Land Rover Range Rover Spotted Testing, we get Our First Peek at the Interior

We have another round of spy shots of the all-new 2013 Land Rover Range Rover. While the exterior of the British firm's luxury SUV continues to wear plenty of camouflage, our scoopsters were able to snag the first photos of the Range Rover's interior.

If you pay close attention to the pictures, you'll notice several changes including the repositioned main air-vents that are mounted on the same level as the audio and navigation screen on the current model. Right below we find a massive screen for the infotainment system that takes plenty of real estate on the center stack.

The lower console is also new and seems to be positioned slightly higher than before.

New BMW X3 Tops while Range Rover Evoque Flops Consumer Reports' Tests

Just like a Rotten Tomatoes review can make or break a movie’s reputation and its box-office success, Consumer Reports’ road tests have the potential to boost a vehicle's sales or in some cases force a an automaker to run back to the drawing board.

The latest batch of vehicles tested by CR include two SUVs that even though different in size, will compete in the premium segment: the second iteration of the BMW X3 and the brand-new challenger in the category, the Range Rover Evoque.

To sum it up, the BMW X3 xDrive28i scored an 80 in CR's road test and received the “Recommended” tag, while the Range Rover Evoque managed a test score of 60 score and was placed near the bottom of its class.

Project Kahn Touches Up Another Range Rover Evoque

The new Range Rover Evoque is one of those vehicles that doesn't really need a lot of styling mods to look the part, which is probably why British design house Project Kahn has kept the upgrades to a minimum.

Similar to Kahn's first take on the Evoque, this red colored example of Range Rover's compact SUV gets a new set of the firm's RS600 alloy wheels in a gunmetal finish (available in sizes 20-, 21- and 22-inches).

Audio Exclusively for the Range Rover Autobiography

Manufacturers of premium audio system devices, Harman Kardon, introducing exclusive Harman Kardon audio system Logic7 HD as the completeness of the entertainment standard on the Range Rover Autobiography. For the other Range Rover models, the audio system is available as an option extra fittings.

Logic7 system used has a 5.1 Surround Sound setup support power amplifier 1200 watt digital power that produces high-quality sound. In total, there are 15 independent channels of amplifier which supports sound output of 19 speakers placed around the cabin measured in a Range Rover.
To support the low frequency sound output there sub woofer measuring 200 mm in the front door and the rear cabin deck. The end result, the car owner will get an authentic and dynamic sound output as well as having a parallel output quality like to hear live music at a concert. This new system is increasingly strengthening cooperation Harman Kardon and Land Rover that has existed for 16 years.

Ultimate Range Rover World's Only 500 Units

Range Rover will introduce a new flagship product, Ultimate Edition Autobiography in the exhibition Geneva Motor Show next month. This new model through the six-digit price because it will be marketed 130,000 pounds sterling (Rp1, 87 billion).

What features of the Ultimate? According to the Range Rover, the car is only 500 units produced in the world and distributed to the 20 countries are ordered individually. There are two engine options, can order a V8 4.4-liter diesel or 5.0-liter supercharged.
